Experience Music Project and Science Fiction Museum

June 9th, 2008

Seattle residents and visitors are treated to a great amount of activities, including a visit to the Space Needle or a trip to the Woodland Park Zoo. However, many are heading to one of the newest and greatest attractions the city has to offer: The Experience Music Project and Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame (EMP/SFM).

Located at the same place, your ticket covers both of the very different types of experiences you are going to encounter. Just about everyone in every family is going to have a great time at one or both of these places.

The Experience Music Project gives people the chance to explore different forms of music, from jazz and blues, to country, punk and more. Some of the activities include recording your own drum, vocal, keyboard, and guitar tracks. You can even purchase a CD of your own recordings! Also, learn about the history of guitars at the Guitar Gallery, from the 1700s to today.

In the Science Fiction Museum, you can see all of your favorite heroes and villains from some of your favorite sci-fi writers and sci-fi television shows, as well as the weapons they used and the spaceships they piloted.

You will never get bored at the Experience Music Project and Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame (EMP/SFM).
