When my Mom went into a nursing home it was one of the toughest times in my life. I was the youngest in my family; Mom was 45 when she had me. My kids were still quite young at the time. We used to go visit her on Sundays and one visit my son brought some of his Breyer model horses. Normally Mom would cheer up a little when we would visit but that day when she saw the horses she became positively giddy. She played the whole time and had the biggest and greatest smile on her beautiful face.
